"Bringing People In! Lifting People Up! Sending People Out!"

Adult Small Groups

God did not design the world for people to live alone, feel isolated, struggle by themselves or face uncertainty without faith.  God created people for community!  The Lord Jesus Christ wants every person to connect with other people who are trying to live the Christian life, find anwers to their spiritual questions, grow closer to God in Jesus Christ, and develop skills for effective ministry in the world.  Central Baptist Church offers opportunities for you to connect with other people like you.  We know that holistic small groups are disciple-making communities which endeavor to reach the unchurched, meet individual needs, develop each person according to their God-given gifts , and raise leaders to sustain the growth of the church.  Like healthy body cells, holistic small groups are designed to grow and multiply.

Our mission is to connect every person into a group of four to ten others who live life together on a regular basis for a common purpose and are led by a trained facilitator who is assisting them in their progress toward full devotion to Christ by intentionally providing an environment for connection, community and spiritual formation, by:

  1. Developing Spiritually Oriented Communities where people feel connected with 5 to 10 other people in open, honest, Christ-focused, and confidential fellowship.
  2. Multipling discples, leaders and groups through training, apprenticeship, and coaching for effective life change through spiritual practices.
  3. Integrating Newcomers by attracting new people to Christ, making new people feel welcome, finding answers to their spiritual questions, and introducing them to other people on the Christian spiritual path.
  4. Developing New Groups that are relevant to daily life, ensure an atmosphere of sharing and trust, develop relationships and meet felt needs.

We offer different types of groups to meet your emotional, physical, prayerful, social and spiritual needs:

  1. Discipleship Groups: focus on Bible study or scripture knowledge, plus some ministry and support
