May 4 - “You Are Mine!” (Isaiah 43:1-3): How much are you worth? If you had to cash-in your life, how much would be left after all of your spiritual debts were paid? In Isaiah, God clearly tells the people of Israel: You Are Mine! God has named and claimed a people as His own. God pays our debts and redeems our lives through the sacrificial gift of Jesus. Now, we’re priceless to God!
Mary 11 - Mother’s Day - “You Are Loved!” (John 3:16-24): Does anyone love me? If I were to die tonight, would anyone miss me? Every person searches for the answer to life’s biggest question: Does God love me? In John, chapter 3, God clearly declares: “You Are Loved!” In the Cross, we receive God’s unconditional love. Now, we can love others because God first loved us!
May 18 - “You Are Forgiven!” (Hebrews 10:1-14): How many times do you need to ask God for forgiveness? How many times can you repeat a sin and still be saved? How do you know your acts of regret will be met with God’s mercy? Everyone fears punishment - the just correction for our mistakes and failures. In Hebrews, God clearly tells His people: “You Are Forgiven!” In the Cross, we can receive God’s forgiveness of every burden we carry, every sin we commit and every secret we carry. We are nont perfect, be thank God we are forgiven!
May 25 - Memorial Day - “You Are Remembered!” (Psalm 25): Who will remember you when you are gone from the earth? Who will decorate your graves? Will anyone remember your name in a hundred years? Today, Christians do not need to wonder if their children, grandchildren or great-grandchildren will remember their names when they’re gone because God remembers all of His children’s names, for ever. Since God is eternal, we can place our trust in him and his perfect memory.
June 1 - “You Are Free!” (Romans 6:1-14): God gives every person the free will to love or reject Him. We chose to be slaves to sin or free for God. What have you chosen? Are you free from your past? Are you free from guilt and shame? How should we use this new freedom we find in Christ’s redeeming love? God tells us clearly through the Apostle Paul: “You Are Free!”
