Adams County RSVP is seeking church groups, civic organizations, youth groups and individuals to help with the cleanup efforts. RSVP is coordinating the placement of volunteer groups with the flood victims in the area. Persons wishing to help should contact Carla Gosney at the RSVP office at 217-641-4960. August 2nd, 2008

The Congregation approved the Trustee request to repair and seal the south, west and alley access parking lots at a cost of $6,680.00.  Coulter Asphalt will fill cracks and seal lots with a premium sealer in preparation for Nathan Fox’s Eagle Scout project (re-stripe and increase handicapped parking spaces.).  The costs to repair and seal the lots will come from the Building Fund.  Individuals interested in donating toward this important project can donate to the Building Fund.  Costs for Fox’s project to re-stripe lots will be raised during a spaghetti luncheon on August 24.  The repairs, sealing and striping of the parking lots should be completed by October 1, 2008.
