The Music Ministry at Central Baptist Church provides individuals with the opportunity to use their Spiritual Gift of Creative Communication in service to God and fellowship with people of like interests and concerns. We welcome all who want to use their talents to serve God.
Chancel Choir: Adult Chancel Choir, under the direction of Rexanne Greuter, leads congregational singing and provides special music during the Sunday 8:30 a.m. Traditional service. Periodically, the Chancel Choir provides solos, special services, cantata and activities throughout the year. Rehearsals are held each Wednesday (Sept. thru May) at 7:30 p.m.
Handbell Choir: Ringers of all ages make a joyful noise during our Christmas and Easter seasons. Directed by Andy Rhea, this dynamic team rehearses each Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.
Praise Band: This amazingly artistic small group of vocalists and musicians make a mighty sound of praise for the Lord each Sunday during the 11:00 am Contemporary service. Directed by lead vocalist, Andy Rhea, the Praise Band sings a variety of Christian songs for worship. Rehearsals are held each Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
Organist: Margaret Mealiff, our gifted organist and flutist, has played our Allen Organ at Central Baptist for more than forty years. Margaret offers personalized piano, guitar and brass lessons on a weekly bases for a fee. Contact Margaret for more information.
