Central Baptist Church is the best Baptist church by the Mississippi River in downtown Quincy, Illinois. We are a medium sized multicultural community of evangelistic believers who love God and love people. We offer adult and kid-friendly programs, including the AWANA Bible Club, to help people connect with God and with others as they mature in their faith. Members come from a variety of backgrounds including Africa, Asian, European and Hispanic communities. We worship God, study the Bible, pray regularly, encourage one another and celebrate the love of God in Christ Jesus with . We invite you to join us on Sunday mornings at 8:30 and 11:00; or Wednesday nights at 6:30 p.m.
Location: 321 N. 7th Street, Quincy, Illinois 62301 – Helpful hints: we are located on the southwest corner of 7th and Broadway (Illinois Route 104) streets in downtown Quincy, Illinois (google.maps). We are seven blocks east of the Mississippi River; one block east of the Court House. The CYO (Catholic Youth Organization) Gymnasium is across 7th street, and Burger King restaurant faces us on Broadway. You drive past Central Baptist if you cross the one-way, westbound Bay View Bridge from Illinois to Missouri.
