Central Baptist Church

Central Baptist Church family expresses its sincere sympathy to Jakay Steckler and family at the death of William David Steckler. David went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at his home in Quincy. He was a godly man, loving husband, father, grandfather, and a follower of Jesus Christ having joined Central Baptist Church by believers baptism on October 27, 1957. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 30, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Central Baptist Church in Quincy, Illinois.  A funeral service will be held Saturday, July 31 at 11:00 am. at Central Baptist Church. Interment will be at Greenmount Cemetery. Memorial gifts will be received at Central Baptist Church in honor of David’s life and legacy. Please pray for the family: Ask God the Father to send the promised Holy Spirit to Comfort, Counselor and Guide during this time of grief in the Name of Jesus Christ, our Risen Savior and Lord.
