Central Baptist Church

The Rev. Dr. Dwight Stinnett, Executive Minister of the American Baptist Churches of the Great Rivers Region, will be our guest preacher on Sunday, May 23, 2010 during the 8:30 and 11:00 a.m. services.  On this special Pentecost Sunday, we will receive the GRReat Churches Offering to financially support the work of our region – American Baptist Churches of Illinois and Missouri.  The Regional Offering funds the salary and work of our Executive Minister, Area Minister Dr. John Grisham, and regional staff.  The Region is down approximately $30,000.00 in general fund giving for 2010.  Your donation to this important offering helps the work of our churches beyond Quincy.  It also supports Dr. Stinnett and Dr. Grisham’s work here at Central Baptist Church.  These men are currently working extensively with our leadership to develop our programs, renew our bylaws and mentor our pastors.  Your generous donation to the GRReat Churches Offering on Sunday, May 23 would be greatly appreciated!
