MEN’S BIBLE CAMP – APRIL 21-25, 2010 - Men’s Bible Camp is an annual men’s trip to Bennett Springs State Park, near Lebanon, Mo. for Bible study, fly fishing, fellowship and fun. Twelve men make a physical and spiritual journey to discover God’s wonderful creation and strengthen their spiritual walk with the Lord. This year’s topic will be: “Mentoring the Next Generation of Boys.” Countless boys in our church and neighborhood are searching for male role models to teach them values, Godly living and the truth about being a man of God. We will study Jesus’ mentoring of the Apostles, and hopefully how “more time, spent with fewer people, equals greater kingdom impact.” We will study two books: “Mentor Like Jesus” by Regi Campbell and Richard Chancy; and “Transparenting: Mentoring the Next Generation” by Steve Keels.
The 2010 cost is: $125.00 per person for Wednesday through Sunday. The cost includes 4 nights lodging, eleven meals at camp, 4 days fishing tags, and the first meal at a restaurant. Personal items, state fishing license, fishing gear, dry clothes, Bible, etc. are not included in cost. Camp will begin at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, April 21 and conclude at 12:00 noon on Sunday, April 25. Register today!
