Central Baptist Church

Can a church reach people under 40 while keeping people over 60?  Author and seminar leader, Dr. Eddie Hammett, will present a special “Being Church for All Generations” workshop on Thursday, May 28 at the First Baptist Church of Bloomington, Illinois.  The seminar begins at 10:00 am to 4:00 p.m.  Dr. Hammett is the author of four books dealing with how the church can be prepared for more effective ministry in the 21st century.  Central Baptist will pay the $30.00 fee for each leader from Central Baptist – which includes lunch, notebook and one copy of Hammett’s book, “How to Reach People Under 40 While Keeping People Over 60.”  Register with Dave Smith before May 17 if you are able to attend.  David and Diana Smith will lead the group from Central Baptist, Quincy.
