Central Baptist Church

Sixty-three children experienced an enthusiastic and energizing Vacation Bible School each night last week - July 13-17.  Every child was engaged with fun, science-themed surprises. Students took an imaginary boat ride during a rain storm, walked on water, spoke a new language, guessed which objects would sink or float, met new friends, ate interesting snacks, and heard memorable Bible stories.  It was a powerful week where Central Baptist achieved its goal of “helping children learn about Jesus in a safe and encouraging environment.”  Hopefully, parents will see the life-long difference Jesus Christ makes in children’s lives.  A BIG thank goes to Gayle Miller, VBS Coordinator, for her hard work and dedication to this ministry.   The Board of Christian Education will start to plan next year’s Vacation Bible School, soon.
