Donate a warm blanket to a disaster victim, a homeless child, a freezing family or a person in need. On Sunday, May 4, Central Baptist will receive its semiannual offering - Blanket Sunday - in partnership with Church Women United and Church World Service. Your donation will make a positive impact upon a person in America, Africa, South America and around the world.
A donation of:
- $5.00 will purchase one blanket
- $15.00 will purchase a hoe, shovel, rake for rural family
- $25.00 will purchase a sewing machine to help a widow learn to trade to support her family
- $100.00 will purchase fishing net and other equipment for a village cooperative
- $175.00 will purchase a family-sized tent to shelter disaster victims
- $5,000.00 will drill and install a clean water well for a village
