The Deacons and Deaconesses at Central Baptist Church will hold their Spring Retreat at the Usra Retreat House starting Friday, June 6 thru Saturday, June 7, 2008. Men and women are invited to register for overnight lodging (in separate quarters) or for each day. Cost: $17.00 per person lodging at the Retreat House or $7.00 per person, each day. The topic will be: “Centering Prayer: Finding Calm in Chaos.”
The Retreat will start Friday with a common “carry-in” meal at 6:30 p.m. and conclude at 9:00 p.m. Saturday’s sessions will begin at 7:00 am with a prayer walk and breakfast. Lunch will be provided, please bring your own drinks (no alcohol). The Retreat will conclude at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
